This painting has taken a wild journey since the beginning, it is not the color palette I started with nor was it going to be a diptych. This rebellious flower forced itself to be magenta and demanded some company! I’ve learned long ago not to force my paintings; it seems like I had forgotten this practice until this little rebel reminded me to just let go and be free.
